Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOCG "Notari", Nicodemi (75cl)

One for the first wines to be bottled by the winery, this Montepulciano D’Abruzzo was first produced back in 1977. In 2014, the area has obtained the DOCG status to become Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Colline Teramane.

Named after one of Notaresco’s oldest districts, this Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane is obtained from selected grapes from some of the oldest estate's vineyards planted as far back as the 1970s, to obtain this wine, the malolactic fermentation lasting approximately 4 months was one in French oak barrels. The wine is then aged in wood.

This is a Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Colline Teramane with an extra gear, with a complex nose, with notes of dark fruit and rose, soft, smooth, rich, with a big structure, perfectly balanced. Perfect with mature cheeses or rich courses, from roasts to barbeques, this is a wine that can be kept in the cellar for many more years.
